Quarterly update of key alcohol indicators

The Northern Territory Government has released its update for alcohol-related indicators.

These indicators provide useful context which help shape the work the NT Government is doing to reduce alcohol-related harm across the Territory.

The data focuses on seven key areas, and maps trends over the last decade.

The indicators include:

  • Alcohol consumption;
  • Alcohol-induced deaths;
  • Alcohol-related assaults;
  • Domestic violence alcohol-related assaults;
  • Alcohol-attributed road injuries and deaths;
  • Alcohol-attributed emergency department presentations; and
  • Drink driving.

The data will continue to be updated quarterly to provide a transparent and up to date source of information.
